PowerShell *.ps1 allowed exeution + TAM enabled
0.- Enable TAM.
1.- Run the following ps1 script file Hello World.ps1:
Write-Host "Hello World" Write-Host "Press any key to continue ..." $x = $host.UI.RawUI.ReadKey("NoEcho,IncludeKeyDown")
KTS2020 moves it to Low Restricted group and allows execution.
Script ps1 files should be blocked by TAM upon execution. I also reported this issue in previous beta testing and it was fixed... unless the policy to execute ps1 scripts had change?
Execution slowdown when TAM enabled
0.- Install VLC 3.0.4 x64
1.- Enable TAM
2.- Open an audio mp3 file
3.- VLC takes more than 30 seconds to open and start to reproduce the mp3 file
4.- If You close VLC and try again, will open fast, but with every new session, or in the same session after some time, again You may get slowdown execution VLC.
I'm not getting this behaviour with all applications + TAM enabled, but probably it is reproducible with others.
I already reported this behaviour some years ago during beta testing of previous build of Kaspersky KIS/KTS.
VLC takes more than 30 seconds to open.
VLC should open in about 1 ~ 2 seconds.
RE: Not fixed vulnerabilities in operating system.
I can confirm this issue here, I tried to Fix these 3 ones in my system:
Autorun from hard drives
Autorun from CD/DVD
Autorun from removable drives
And KTS2020 b607 does not fix them, every time I click on Fix button it toggles the status from Strongest recommended to fix to Not necessary to fix to Recommended to fix...
