Default browser for Safe Money

I'm not sure if this is by design, but setting for example, Mozilla FireFox as default browser for SM, and having a bank URL added to the list, if I type that URL in Chrome, Safe Money does not open Mozilla FireFox, but Chrome.
Again, I'm not sure if this is by design, but I recall this behavior was not the same in the past, and typing a URL of the SM list, in a different browser, always was opened in the default Safe Money browser, and not in the current one 🤔
This behavior can be reproduced in last beta build 21.23, but also in official release 21.22a.
Having Mozilla FireFox as default Safe Money browser, if I type my bank URL (added to the list) in:
Mozilla FireFox -> Safe Money opens in Mozilla FireFox
Edge -> Safe Money opens in Edge
Chrome -> Safe Money opens in Chrome
Opera -> Safe Money opens in Opera
So, what sense has the option of default Safe Money browser, then? 🤔

hello! It's by design.
default browser - is browser for opening links from Safe Money window.
When user already use some any browser, we try to open SM on it's base.
