Yes, nice but nevertheless, 21.3 is still the default download version on most KL sites for the broad crowd.

Recapping: most of the bugs I reported during 21.5 beta testing were fixed... BUT! (there is always a BUT!), still some bugs there, in this RC still see a "minor bug" related to GUI: the product does not save/keep the visual user custom settings changed, it re-sets them all to default in every system start or if You exit the product and re-execute it.

Example: if You change in Quarantine -> size columns, if You add new columns (and/or change their size), change size of that window, etc. in Intrusion Prevention -> Manage Applications, and this is also applied to other windows settings of the product... in previous versions of the product this was working fine, and user custom settings were saved.

Yes it would be nice if they would release 21.5 and now 21.6 to the masses. Still waiting for a link to download 21.6 myself.

Cheers.

I'm a little bit confused about the different versions of 21.x. Maybe you can shed light into the darkness.

Regarding the detection rate of malware, is there a difference between MR3 and MR5? Which version do you suggest to use at the moment?

I'm using MR5 for the time being. Would you suggest that I should go back to MR3? Especially because of .NET 5?

@helios, hello!

You've asked about malware detection. For many threats we have to main components - core antivirus wich is updated with databases (on regular base) and KSN, internet based component wich checks info with help of our web database.

So If new threat will be founded, you will be protected with mr3 or mr5 if you have a internet connection.

IMHO, the biggest, difference between MR3 and MR5/6/7 is new GUI. Full list of changes should be placed in "what's new" articles on our support web-site.

And of cause, new build is always preferable )

So, I've installed the US version of MR6. Went all through the installation process without any problems. And in this version, you can also switch on and off the marketing collecting data (as mentioned above, the Californian version is like the GDPR policy). 👍😊

Just one importent thing. MR6 is still based on .NET 5 (x86) which will reach end of support on the coming May 8.🤔
