Alternative login options in MyKaspersky may work now, please do not report bugs on them.

Useful info:

Installed over previous build went fine, except for one question: I had to manually and previously delete (in Windows Safe Mode) the registry key avp.exe in Image File Execution, because it seems it is created with strong rights, and when overwriting the new build, the installation can't remove or access to it, and causes stopping the upgrading, leading to a messing system...

-

@harlan4096, we got several messages and reports about it. We thought it was MS issue, but seems it's our. We are investigating it's now

Thanks!

Just curious: I can't pass this test with any of my browsers (FireFox, Chrome, Edge, Opera or Brave) + KPLUS 21.6 current last beta:

Can someone try on their systems?

hello! can you give more detalis what do you mean by "can't pass": file is downloaded, or downloading doesn't start, and you don't see our warning?

Windows11 may be the cause. If someone want to try reproduce it, please say OS version with your result.
-

Yes! with: "pass the test", I mean that K. should block the download of that file via WebAV.

I get different results depending on the browser (tested in W10 Pro):

FireFox: the browser directly blocks the download. No warning from K. If I allow manually the download, then K. FileAV detects the file.

Edge: similar result as FireFox.

Chrome, Opera, Brave: the file is not even downloaded, no warnings from browsers nor from K. 🤷♂️🤔

Any ideas?
-

please create a bug, We cannot reproduce it. I use win11 + FireFox and I saw our warning and K blocks downloading.
-
