<p><strong>Reproduction steps:</strong></p>
<p><span></span>I and other guy found the problem about a month ago, try to report the problem vis tech support, but it is too slow and low efficiency, still the problem can not be identified.</p>
<p>The problem is that Kaspersky may consume too much cpu when I watch live stream media using Chrome.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.huya.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">https://www.huya.com/</a> is a chinese Live website, recently I discover that sometimes kaspersky will eat about 30% cpu when I watch video using chrome. Reproduction is not always successfull, but it is highly likely to reprodcue when visit some hot branch, such as this one,<a href="https://www.huya.com/kpl" target="_blank" rel="noopener">https://www.huya.com/kpl</a></p>
<p>When reproduced, you can see that chrome and avp service completely consume all cpu resources... and the live will hang.</p>

<p><span>I uploaded many data to tech support, but still there is not even a bug ID.</span></p>
<p><span>Since the problem can still be reproduced when updated to patch C, I choose to report here also.</span></p>

<p><span>steps to collect data</span></p>
<p><span>1 already completely disable paging file, there is no virtual memory at all</span></p>
<p><span>2 Run xperf -on base+cswitch+compact_cswitch+dispatcher+fileio -stackwalk profile+cswitch+readythread -buffersize 1024 in cmd to start performance data collection.</span></p>
<p><span>3 start chrome and watch stream media</span></p>
<p><span>4 avp service quickly consume about 30% cpu</span></p>
<p><span>5 Run xperf -d C:\trace.etl</span></p>
<p><span>6 turn on kaspersky product traces and reproduce again, collect traces</span></p>
<p><span>7 reproduce again, collect avp process dump.</span></p>

<p>Frankly speaking, I believe that those tough and long barriers between dev and users cause the very long period which it takes to fix a localization problem.</p>
<p>Tech support always asking us provide tons of data again and again, after months, there still even no bug ID. Maybe, the problem is still not confirmed yet.........</p>

<p>I do the test that disable those drivers. If klwtp is disabled, the problem is gone( of course once the driver is disabled, webAV is stoped). If you disable other driver, there is still the problem.</p>

<p>I find huya use flash technology to build its live player. Perhaps the product has a performance impact when dealing with flash streaming media. Take a look at action script and see what the player is doing.</p>

<p>klwtp is an web transmission processor driver I think. It takes a lot of research to figure out what the player is doing on media stream. Because there are many players that use flash technology, it's the only one that's causing problems, and there must be something special about it.</p>

<p>use chrome and watch Huya. choose a hot room, like KPL, LPL.......</p>
<p>I know little about programming and those basic things.</p>
